Located in the reviving mill district of Saco-Biddeford, this project involved replacing a decrepit steam line bridge span with a new pedestrian bridge to link the downtown centers of Saco and Biddeford and extend the existing RiverWalk trails. Although forming the 11-sided center pier was no simple feat, it was seeing the excitement of the local community that really paid off at the completion of this project. 

 

Scott Construction Corporation was Awarded the 2015 Build Maine Award in the Highway/Bridge category by the Associated General Contractors of Maine for this project.
